X'vari Nunh
Alchemist | Head Doctor of House Wulf | Aetherial Researcher
APPEARANCE
At first glance, X'vari can be mistaken for a common scholar, or perhaps even someone of significant noble standing. His vibrant red hair is clean cut and groomed with fragrant oils, his fine clothes are pressed, and the lenses of his flawless glasses are never besmirched with a smudge or loose grain of dirt. Aside from wearing only a single, black glove over his right hand, the miqo'te appears more fit for a night perusing the stacks at his nearest library than anything else.
But as one examines X'vari closer, the imperfections become readily apparent, with some glaringly more obvious than others. The most noticeable, of course, being his right eye. Sliced down the center through an accident from years ago, what remains of X'vari's blind eye is a milky white sphere devoid of sight or sensation. While it follows the crimson hue of the left when he shifts his gaze, it's clear from standing in his blind spot that X'vari's vision is half of what it once was.
Working down his figure, X'vari's left hand would be the next, most noticeable feature. Scar tissue and old cuts litter the entire surface from the ring of his wrist to the tips of his uneven fingernails. A trained eye might recognize the patchwork appearance as a result of heavy grafting, likely to mask the serious burns that once resided there.
Next would be X'vari's tail. If the fur of his ears and the hair on his head wasn't so clean and full, one might assume that X'vari's tail suffered from a terrible case of mange. Bald patches are scattered upon the length of his tail, and the black tuft at the end always appears half-plucked, ingrown hairs and strands of various lengths growing within the mess. On the balder patches of his hair, the keen observer might also notice the new roots of fur always growing in. A stark and ghostly white, which clashed with X'vari's otherwise crimson coat.
Perhaps more mysterious afflictions lie beneath those clothes, so unfitting for a tribal Sunseeker miqo'te of X'vari's origin. Whatever the case, one thing in clear from a good look: X'vari Nunh is a contradiction, like two people clashing for the same vessel.

Braxis Wynterwulf
Lord of House Wulf, a minor noble family in Ishgard. X'vari works under his employ as his warband's Head Doctor, and occasional sworn blade when the need arises. He's a trusted confidant, and an ever-present pillar of X'vari's professional life.
Io Saar

While Io's relationship with X'vari may have been turbulent at best and violent at worst when they first met, they have been through a lot together. Through hardship and mutual understanding, the two have formed an intimate, if not secretive, bond.
Though Io might never admit it to others, X'vari is open about her being his best friend. Although, he does know not to say too much about it in front of others. That's how friends get bitten.
Corris Amberwright
A dear friend who has now risen to power as the lady of her own Ishgardian house. Corris was once one of X'vari's patients, who had been suffering from a terminal illness he became obsessed with curing. Though success may have shaken his reputation amongst both House Wulf and House Callinaeu, while also costing him a great deal of personal sacrifice, Corris lives on to this day.
These days, she can often be found in the company of House Wulf, working alongside their warband's medical staff as an associate. With close connections to X'vari, she can be depended on in the task of tracking him down.
